Gurgaon, April 3, 2017: We are proud to announce that Mr. Vinod Sood, Managing Director, India at Hughes Systique has been elected to the NASSCOM Engineering Council 2017-19.
On 21st May 2013, National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) had announced the formation of the Engineering Council with a vision to establish India as the most sought-after engineering destination in the years to come. Over these last few years, NASSCOM has been engaged in building the next phase of the Engineering R&D Sector and taking specific initiatives. The Engineering R&D Council election was conducted for the 1st time and attracted more than 31 nominations from a cross-section of NASSCOM member companies. As part of the election process spanning three weeks, 347 members voted for the candidates of their choice and the first 10 candidates who secured the maximum votes were elected to the Council for a two-year term.
On his successful election to the NASSCOM Engineering Council 2017-19, Mr. Vinod Sood, Managing Director, India at Hughes Systique said, “I am pleased to be a part of the NASSCOM Engineering Council 2017-19. I look forward to mobilizing collaborating with the best brains in the industry to expand the Engineering RD footprint of Indian IT Industry both, across the globe within India, through existing new initiatives.”
