In this presentation, the speaker will talk about existing market trials for IMS and WiMAX and the experience in working with leading OEMs and carriers and their perspective on these technologies. In addition, the speaker will present critical architecture similarities and differences between IMS and WiMAX-based networks and discuss in depth about whether it is feasible to expect that only one technology will survive, or whether, in reality, vendors will use a combination of both.
