Job Description :
Mandatory Skills :
- 3 - 7 yrs of total experience in software development with J2EE / EJB
- Prior experience with HNS-DSS project would be an added advantage
- Experience in designing/development and testing of enterprise class systems.
- Hands on expertise on technology skills (Java/J2EE, EJB, JMS, Web services, LDAP)
- Experience working on any one Application servers (BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere, JBoss)
- Experience developing software using IDE (JBuilder/Eclipse/IntelliJ), Experience working with Version Management Tools (Clearcase, CVS).
- Should be able to architect system designs.
- Domain knowledge of OSS/BSS systems preferred.(Ordering, Provisioning, Billing, NMS)
- Knowledge of Protocols (TCP/IP), IP Addressing, Routing, Switching, Security (Firewalls, IDS, etc.)
- Strong communication skills - verbal, written and listening
Responsibilities
- Preparing high-level & low-level design documents for an order handling & provisioning application.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
- Participates in and drives design sessions in the team.
- Drives the technical resolution of issues arising from changes to scope, requirements, design, etc.
- Reviews the Technical Architecture documents to ensure all required functionality is implemented
- Works with Quality Assurance to transfer knowledge and develop the test strategy and validate the test plan
