Job Description :
Mandatory Skills :
- 3 - 5 yrs of total experience in testing of application (out of which min. 1 yr should be in EMS/NMS applications)
- Experience in test planning for EMS/NMS applications, preferably BSS/OSS domain
- Experience with technologies like Java/EJB applications, Tomcat, web-based GUI
- Knowledge of NM related functions - FCAPS
- Experience in deploying Java applications & maintaining testbeds/trouble-shooting issues.
- Good knowledge of quality processes associated with testing (like bug reporting, quality metrics)
- Strong communication skills - verbal, written and listening
- Prior exposure to automation and scripting – 1-2 years of test automation using QTP and QC. Some exposure to scripting using VB will be desirable
- Responsibilities
- Preparing test plans & test procedure documents for EMS/NMS/OSS/BSS applications.
- He will closely work with development team to understand new features of the product.
- Participates in and drives design sessions in the team.
- Drives the technical resolution of issues arising from changes to scope, requirements, design, etc.
- Reviews the requirements documents to keep pace with development activities.
