Global Forum Nokia selects mFramework as an innovative application for 2008

 Hughes Systique's mFramework application idea has been selected as an innovative idea of 2008 by Global Forum Nokia.It was earlier selected by NASSCOM as one of the 100 IT innovators for 2008. mFramework is an End to End mobile Interactive Application Development, Advertising and Commerce Platform which helps OEMs, ISV and operators create a complete solution for authoring and distributing interactive applications for mobile phones and works over a variety of transport mechanisms, including SMS only networks.

Hughes Systique achieves ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 27001 certifications

Hughes Systique Corporation (HSC) has been awarded the globally recognized and respected ISO standards - ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 27001 for Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS) respectively. The audit which was carried out over a period of 3 months was done in three stages - a Pre-Assessment Audit, Stage 1 Audit and Stage II Audit.

HSC joins the iPhone developer program

HSC was recently approved by Apple to become a member of the iPhone developer program. HSC is currently working with several customers on Apple iPhone technologies and becoming a part of the appstore vendor list will help HSC offer complete end-end design, development and mass distribution services to customers wanting to launch iPhone based applications.

HSC joins as pro member in the Nokia Forum initiative

HSC has signed up as a pro member in the Nokia Forum initiative. Through this partnership, HSC expects to release several innovative application prototypes into the market so as to showcase its skills in the application development space for mobile terminals. As part of the this initiative, HSC also will have preview access to beta SDKs and other tools that will help accelerate application development for our customers.

Hughes Profit Doubles After Ownership Change

Brief : Hughes Communications Inc. of Germantown, which provides broadband communications by satellite, reported yesterday that profit doubled in the third quarter.The company had a profit of $11.4 million (60 cents a share), up from $5.6 million (33 cents) in the comparable period a year earlier.
