Abstract: The customer had a requirement to carry out functional and load testing of its WiMAX base station at its premises. HSC participated in

• Test Case identification
• Test Case authoring
• Test Execution & Analysis

Various features of BS e.g. Network Entry, Handover, HARQ, Outer Control Loop, Security, MAC scheduling, Data path setup & tear down, QoS DL & UL setup and verification etc were tested.

For load testing of BS, a live end-end setup was used. Objective of Load test was to

• Demonstrate the stability of the BS under fully loaded conditions.
• Demonstrate the ability of the BS to handle different applications ftp, http, voice, audio and video streaming under Best effort, UGS, RTPS services
• Ensure that the Loaded BS interoperable with CPE's of different vendors.

Customer Benefits: Customer could quickly meet its increased testing requirement in WiMAX domain with quality and could meet the schedule with confidence within its premises
IPR were well protected.
