Mass Mobile Device testing strategy
Abstract:
An ISV wanted to deploy a popular mobile application across hundreds of devices but was not sure on how to test their application quicky and effectively. HSC worked with the customer on the following areas:
Segregate the device market into device families
Identify leading devices of each family
Formulate a testing strategy that assured 100% compatibility across all devices by testing by family type
Created a hybrid test lab which involved local and remote device access to manage costs
As a followup, HSC also executed the testing service for this customer.
