Converged Applications is a domain that spans both network side and mobile terminal applications. In this era of convergence, traditional silos such as "Telecom", "Media", "Content", "TV" have merged. For example, Comcast, a traditional media player now offers phone services to consumers. Verizon, a traditional telecommunications player now offers TV service. This is the disruption that an all IP architecture has brought in.
