Abstract: HSC did a Generic implementation ( including design) of a Transport Protocol Layer at the TOC which would hide technology (CDMA or GSM) specific details and hence enable management of TCUs interfaced to the TOC through varied wireless network interfaces like GSM or CDMA. HSC was also responsible for integration of a New TOC to legacy TCUs (CDMA network).
Customer Benefits:
- Reduce Operational and Deployment Cost.
- Effective usage of existing TOC expertise at HSC.
- Test Bed Setup in simulation environment setup for both kind of networks to facilitate any future development and maintenance
- Extensible solution to support multiple protocol types with minimal changes. So it the solution is flexible enough to be ported to other kind of network interfaces besides GSM and CDMA
