Abstract: HSC has a vast experience in Multimedia codec development and optimization on various processors. We developed the multimedia framework where we have integrated the developed and optimized codecs in the framework. The codecs were optimized to meet the MCPS and Memory requirement. Apart from codec optimization we have developed the Transcoding algorithms through partial encoding and decoding. We have developed encoder and decoder as per our requirement. Fig below shows the methodology we used to do the codec development. We did the porting and optimization of EVRC-B, WB-AMR, G.722.1, H.264, Ogg-Vorbis and many more codec on SC140 and TMS320C64X.
