Abstract: HSC has developed a PoC LTE layer 1 solution targeted on TI platform. The solution is developed for DL chain (eNodeB TX and UE RX). The Tx/Rx chain is developed as generic fixed point C code. Though this is presently targeted on TI platform, but it can be optimized and ported on any other processor as well. The solution implements the eNodeB side control chain (PDCCH, PCFICH & PHICH) DL transmitter and UE side control chain receiver. The control symbols are mapped on to the first three symbols of LTE subframe before transmission and processed at the receiver end to extract the UE specific and broadcast information through a blind detection process.
