Abstract: HSC did an exact estimation of Wimax over a satellite link. A quantitative and qualitative analysis was done for performance, capacity (in terms of voice calls per MHz), setup time of voice calls and various overheads viz. spectral over heads, protocol overheads etc. The testing was done in practical conditions and aggregate final efficiency of the system was inferred in such conditions.
